The Automated GUI Recorder records the actions or events as a XML file
(makro).

I would like to have them as simple Java statements in a Java class file.
Is this possible? If not, is it planned?

Maybe I could call the AGR API by Java statements directly? If yes, are
there examples?

Hi Hans,
An AGR recording is an XML macro containing events on widgets for
playback. Only verification hooks are implemented in Java code. The AGR
does not support converting a macro to Java code and there are no examples
of using AGR API for this purpose. I believe you are looking for something
like Abbot (http://sourceforge.net/projects/abbot/).

In TPTP 4.5, the AGR became an As-Is component (see
http://wiki.eclipse.org/4.5_Component_Reorganization). As such, there is no
new development planed for this component. That said, please feel free to
contribute to the AGR through a patch attached to a Bugzilla.
