Hiya,

I could not profile eclipse JUnit plugin using TPTP. It keeps
complaining "agent controller is unavailable under 10006".

Here is my setting: The default port setting in the "profiling and
logging" page is 10002. And in the "host" page, I have port 10002 and
port 10006 (both pass the test connection).

It can find the monitor in the running page. But when clicking run, it
complains "agent controller is unavailable under 10006". It seems TPTP
cannot connect the external agent controller.

I also install the standalone agent controller, and the SampleClient
seems fine, but with wired output (there should be 5 Incoming data
between the start and the stop??):

------------------------------------------------------------ --------------
Connected to the Agent Controller on "localhost" at port number 10006

The Time Collector Agent ID: 103

Established a data channel with the agent.

Sending 5 Hello messages over data channel to TimeCollector ...

Start the TimeCollector ...

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 0

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 1

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 2

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 3

Stop the TimeCollector ...

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 4

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 5

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 6

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 7

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 8

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 9

Incoming data: Hello from Time Collector Agent - Count 10

All finished
Press any key to exit...

------------------------------------------------------------ --------------

Do any of you know how to profile an eclipse plugin using TPTP?

Thank you,
Owen

ok. I finally make TPTP profile eclipse JUnit plugins. But it only works
on the latest version 4.5M6. I need confirmation: is it that previous
versions (before 4.5) of TPTP does not support profiling eclipse JUnit
plugin? (I can make 4.4 profile others, e.g. non-plugin JUnit tests,
Java Programs)
