Hello,

I read in an interview, that you'r thinking about support for web
services recording. The idea was to use the Web Services Explorer of the
Web Tools Project and record the requests and replies with the HTTP
Recorder of TPTP.

The idea sounds quite simple, therefore I tried to do it by my own, but
without success. The Web Services Explorer is based on JSPs and there is
no option to redirect the HTTP requests/replies through any HTTP proxy,
like the recorder.

Is this idea still on-topic and did you make any progress on it?

Regards
Holger

Hi Holger,
Yes, you are correct. The URL Recorder does not record JSPs and the Web
Services Explorer is a JSP application. In addition, the Eclipse Web
Browser view cannot be configured to use the URL Recorder proxy and you
cannot open the Web Services Explorer in an external web browser.
