It's been a busy year for the Open System Engineering Environment
(OSEE). Thanks in part to the feedback and collaboration gained at last
year's EclipseCon conference and throughout the year, the following
areas have been enhanced: scalability, extensibility, API maturity,
performance, deployment and documentation. In addition, we are working
thorough the steps to commit the OSEE Test Environment (OTE), OSEE's
application for requirements-based testing supporting both real-time and
simulated environments with an extensible messaging system supporting
external I/O such as ethernet, mux, serial and wire

EclipseCon 2009 looks to be another great opportunity for expanded use
and collaboration of OSEE.

Monday Tutorial:

OSEE, from www.eclipse.org/osee to deployment... -
http://www.eclipsecon.org/2009/sessions?id=680 - Showcases how to
configure and deploy OSEE. This includes converting an example company
to use OSEE's requirements and configuration management.

Monday Birds of a Feather:

Open System Engineering Environment - BOF
http://www.eclipsecon.org/2009/sessions?id=833 - Discussion of where
we've been, collaboration opportunities, areas of focus desired by the
user community and continued integration of other eclipse projects and
technologies.

Wednesday Short Talks:

An Integrated Test Environment for Systems Engineering -
http://www.eclipsecon.org/2009/sessions?id=675 - Introduction to the
OSEE Test Environment (OTE)
XViewer - An SWT Widget with the power of the spreadsheet. -
http://www.eclipsecon.org/2009/sessions?id=672 - Overview of OSEE
client/server architecture and data modeling

Thursday Short Talk:

Unlocking the OSEE Core Framework -
http://www.eclipsecon.org/2009/sessions?id=676 - Introduction to the
advanced tree/table widget used across OSEE's views and editors

See you at EclipseCon!!
