Hi ,

I am trying to build my own MDR for my data model using the COSMOS
framework.

I have gone through the
" http://wiki.eclipse.org/Constructing_a_Data_Manager#Data_Man ager_Example"
link and downloaded the required files and trying to set up the
example MDR in my eclipse
work space.

But on the above link the details are not given to run the examples ,

Looking for some help to run this example set up to understand how MDR
works ?

Regards

Arun.

Hello Arun,

My apologies... you have stumbled on an outdated document. I have
updated it with a reference to the correct location for this
documentation. Please find the correct documentation linked from the
driver downloads page. You will see links to COSMOS Installation Guide,
COSMOS User's Guide, and COSMOS Developer's Guide. In particular for
building an MDR, you will want to read "Creating a Data Manager" in the
Developer's Guide.

Hope this helps,
David

Hi ,

Thank you for your reply. From the developers I got the link
http://wiki.eclipse.org/COSMOS_DG_Constructing_a_Data_Manage r , is this
the right link to follow ?

I am not able to find the drivers page , can you provide the direct
url ?

I added the following text to the page that links to
COSMOS_DG_Constructing_a_Data_Manager:

"Important Note! This does not represent the most recent level of
documentation. This documentation served as input the documentation
editor, who created an HTML version in the COSMOS CVS repository.
Eventually this HTML version will be accessible on the COSMOS web site.
In the meantime, please consider the HTML files in the CVS repository as
the master source and most current version of the documentation. They
are located in the org.eclipse.cosmos/doc in the technology section of
the repository."

Basically consider any of the user docs on the wiki as backlevel. We
will clean this up soon. In the meantime, you can download the
documentation using the links found here:
