I just find that we can configure a null comparator to disable sorting on some columns.

But how to apply this for filter? Thanks.

Found an approach that registering a never editable rule on unspported row cells.

Is this a valid way?

What are you trying to achieve? Disable filtering for some columns? Well, yes, you can configure some cells in the filter row as not being editable if you want to.
