Hi,

I have two models A and B. In diagram A, I created a shortcut to an element
b of B.
Now I want to create a connection from an element a to b, but when hovering
above Element b while drawing the connection, nothing happens.

This is the exactly the same senario as described here:
http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/45330/146740/#msg_146740

Is it actually possible to create links to shortcuts of elements from
different models? I'm not sure if it is.

If it is possible, what am I doing wrong?
There are the two ecore models A and B as described above. For each of them there is a genmodel and a gmfgen. I created two diagram plugins (one for each model). I'm able to model the domains A and B in separate graphical editors and it is also possible to create shortcuts from B in A.
But I can't find out a way to link from an object of A to the shortcut (as described above).

I tried everything that looks like a possible solution but failed.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Marco
