Eclipse: org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.1.1.R36x_v20101122_1400.jar
java.fullversion=JRE 1.7.0 IBM J9 2.6
Windows XP x86-32 20120322_106209 (JIT enabled, AOT enabled)

Problem:
Customer is not able to find his installed version of Microsoft Word when using the Find External editor Browse function. The customer has Microsoft 2010 version of Word installed, but the browse if finding his old version of Mircosoft 97 - 2003 version, which is no longer installed.

Why does the browse find this old uninstalled version of Microsoft Word and not the latest version?

Looks like a problem in the Windows registry. I guess, that if you use
'Open with' on a file in the Windows Explorer, it will also give you the
wrong information.
