Hi!

What i'm trying is the follwing:
I'd like to ask the user on first start of the Application to choose his locale/language.

In Eclipse 3.x the way was to create a Dialog in Application.class, set the Locale on eclipse.exitdata and restart the Application by returning Application.EXIT_RESTART.

My Plan for Eclipse4.2 was set up an LifeCycleHandler as described here by Kai Toedter (see his blog on Eclipse 4 Lifecycle Hooks), but only on first application start.
How to set the property in myapplication.ini for usage in next application start and how to restart the application?

Are there any other ideas on how to select locale/language on first application start?
