Hi Guys. This is my first post on Eclipse Forums. I have this issue with Eclipse on Arch Linux. I'm running Eclipse for Java EE that I downloaded from eclise.org and it is currently running using Sun JDK 6. I was using OpenJDK but I switched to Sun JDK hoping that would fix the problem. I know this is not a major issue but it just bugs me. This is happening randomly and it fixes itself when eclipse redraws. I've tried different fonts but that didn't solve the problem.

Please look at the attached screenshot to understand the problem.

Might be caused by the usage of Cairo. Could you try:

# Export this parameter
export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1
# Start Eclipse with these flags
../eclipse -Dorg.eclipse.swt.internal.gtk.cairoGraphics=false
-Dorg.eclipse.swt.internal.gtk.useCairo=false
