trying to run the example in the article:

"UI Testing with Eclipse Jubula" at jmhofer's insignificant insights site:

jmhofer.johoop.de/?p=97

able to get through the example until

start the test object via the "Start AUT" toolbar button.

was able to start successfully the 'AUT Agent' service and connect to it.

But the next step of pressing the "Start AUT" button brings up the error message:

An error occurred.

Reason: 5009: AUT start failed

No valid Java binary found. Check given JRE binary.

Anyone know the reason for this error or how to fix it?

I have both the Java 1.7 JRE installed and Java EE 6 SDK installed. Haven't had any other problems with the Java binary. The binary is in the PATH environment variable.

Hi,

Judging from your later posts, can I assume that you got the AUT started?

Best regards,
Alex

Hi,

Please check the Path of the AUT : By Verifing

Test --> Properties --> AUT's --> Open Project (XXX) --> Under AUT configurations Edit ---> check Executable File Name [ Here Verify that the Application is availabel in the Path].

Thanks,
Muthu
