Is it possible to run Epsilon in another OSGi implementation such as
Apache Felix?

In short: I'm not sure!

Running Epsilon in Felix (or any OSGi implementation other than Eclipse) is not something that we've tried as far as I know. We do have a standalone version of Epsilon that can run outside of an OSGi implementation, and this might be a good starting point:

If you're interested in using EMF models with Epsilon on Apache Felix, you'd need to look into EMF OSGi (, which has been developed while the EMF team decide how to approach bug #328227 (

Do let us know if you run into any dependency issues with Epsilon that would prevent integration with Felix, and we'll do our best to resolve them.
