That is a good idea. I will give it some consideration.
Basically I am an architect on a global application that uses Eclipse RCP on the client and JBOSS with EJB3 on the server.
I have long sought to have a pure or nearly pure OSGi implementation across both the client and server since some many bundles could be used between the two.
For example, we use Eclipse EMF to model a large portion of the data that is used by the system.
It would nice to have the same bundles that operate on the EMF models in both client and server.
In some regards we do mimic this and reuse most of the code, but aspects such as the potential use for DS or Blueprint limits what we can do on the server.
