Hi,

I'm new to Eclipse, I have installed Papyrus via the Papyrus standard download - standard Eclipse Modeling Platform (Indigo for both) following those instructions :
ƒ Scenario:
ƒ - Download the Eclipse Modeling Platform (www.eclipse.org/downloads),
ƒ - Unzip the downloaded file and start Eclipse.exe,
ƒ - Launch the Modeling discovery site update,
ƒ - Check Papyrus and start installation.

The installation worked properly but't after restarting Eclipse I didn't find the "New Papyrus Project" button in the Eclipse overview !! I can see the Papyrus icon (Eclipse Modeling project) when I open Help > about Eclipse, but I dont find any way to access to Papyrus.

my OS is Ubuntu 10.04

any suggestion to overcome this problem ?

thanks too much.

Hi

Your question doesn't make much sense so it's difficult to answer.

There is no "Eclipse overview". Do you mean Welcome Page, Outline View,
or Package Explorer?

There is no "New Papyrus Project" menu option.

In the Package Explorer, you may find New->Project... Papyrus->Papyrus
Project.

Regards

Yes, I mean the Welcome page.
According to the installation file, a "New Papyrus Project" icon should appear in the Welcome page after restarting Eclipse Modeling Tool.
