Hello,
I'm trying to use the director app to provision a complete product, as
documented at http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox_p2_director_application.
The resulting destination does not include a bundles.info file (nor a
config.ini file). Tracing through the director code, I don't see how
this could work, since the target application is not running when the
IUs are installed (and hence, the framework manipulator isn't being used).
How is everyone bootstrapping bundles.info with the P2 bundles? My
theory was to have an IU group containing all necessary P2 bundles and
dependencies and use the director app to install that IU in to a new
product.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Google turned up a few other
people with the same problem but no answers.
