I have a custom UI which exposes Driver information and is very similar(but not same as) a Connection Profile.

I want to add a Test Connection button to this UI. I have seen a Test Connection button while defining Connection Profiles.

Is there a way to extend this?

I do create a connection profile in the background which is hidden from the User.
