UML2 Tools and Indigo [message #889836] Tue, 19 June 2012 21:16 Go to next message
Eclipse User
Hi,

i've just tried to install UML2Tools via update site
(http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/updates/releases/), but seems
there is unsatisfied dependency. There's a workaround for that as
described in

http://wiki.eclipse.org/MDT/OCL/FAQ#How_do_I_workaround_org.eclipse.emf.ocl_deprecation_in_Helios_and_later.3F

but i still have a question: Is UML2Tools project dead? Why there are no
releases for gelios and indigo?

Hi Emil

As you can tell UML2 Tools is on life support.

There is a 0.10 I-build on the downloads page that gets you going on Indigo.

But Juno is a problem becuiase UML2 now supports UML 2.4 and this
mandates a proper UML2 Tools rebuild.
