eclipse and java zombie process [message #889791]

Everytime I quit eclipse the corresponding java process and eclipse process never die. I can only kill them with the -9 option. How can I resolve this? I am currently running eclipse 3.7.1 on RHEL 5.x.

I suggest you file a bug and attach a stack trace, so that we can see
what's still running.
