Wonder if some of the BIRT experts on this board could take a look at this defect - #374924. What bothers me that the problem was reported a long time ago but since then there was not a single update on the defect and it is not clear whether it will be ever fixed in OS.

The issue is pretty serious as BIRT reporting tool can't calculate totals correctly unless you resort the data set (which hits performance badly)....

I assume you have seen that this was fixed in 4.2 rc3?
