download.eclipse.org repo unavailable? [message #884666]

Hi

Trying to establish if the eclipse download repo is unavailable, when I try and update or install new software/plugins the connection timesout.

I am not behind a proxy.
I can browse other external eclipse repos with internal eclipse browser and external browser.
I have tried uninstalling reinstalling eclipse
I have deleted .eclipse workspace directories

I have never had a problem before, what am i doing wrong?

Ubuntu 12.04 32bit

Any help would be appreciated
