What is the process to download EMF Compare source and build it on one's computer via git?

I went to the eclipse git repository and cloned the git repo for EMF Compare. But the repo does not contain any of the jar files. How do I know what jar files to install?

I have looked at the issue a bit more and I found a website on EMF Compare's website that talks about setup.

They say you need new Eclipse and EMF SDK's as dependencies. They say use either import the workspace plug-in or packaging. But the import of those workspaces still has dependency errors.

Also how do you build the project and test it?
