I couldn't find an easy way to select one or more test cases and run them. I always have to set/unset active nodes which is not usable at all. This is highly needed when creating/debugging tests.

Does anyone have a better workaround?

I'm not sure I understand your use case but it seems you could just create different Test Suites for your different scenarios.
