hi,
is there some way to filter out properties in properties view based on
model (IJavaObjectInstance) properties? i.e. when 'type' == 'svg' show
svg-related properties group.
Thanks

No, the only filtering is advanced versus not advanced and read-only
versus changable properties. The properties are the properties of the
object, so they should already include the svg-related properties since
the object is an svg type.
