Hi,
I've installed eclipse 3.3 and TPTP 4.4.0.1 on linux, but the IAC doesn't
work. I haven't started the Standalone AC, nor is there any other eclipse
instance running on this server. Still, whenever I try to prodile an
application or test the connection through the preference windows, I get a
connection failed with:
org.eclipse.hyades.internal.execution.local.control.AgentCon trollerUnavailableException
I also the standalone AC seems to work, but no luck with IAC.

Hi Raphaël,
I have the same problem as you .........
Before I had the standalone AC and it didnt work either, but I've
uninstalled it because I've found this link:
http://help.eclipse.org/help33/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse. tptp.platform.agentcontroller.doc.user/concepts/ac/ciacintro .html
where it seems that you don't need standalone AC because IAC is
automatically installed with TPTP (in fact, i have Integrated Agent
Controller category under Window Preferences)
What do you have under Hosts menu item under Profiling and Logging?
localhost:10002 or localhost:10006 ?
Thanks!

Well, under Hosts, I used to have only localhost:10002, but now, I also
have Local Direct Connection! I don't now what changed since yesterday but
now, it appears. Anyway, it doesn't work, when I click "Test Connection",
it says the RAC is running (but it isn't).
When you're saying you uninstalled the AC, I guess it means you didn't
start it. Because as I understand, both AC and IAC are part of the TPTP
runtime package.
