Is there way to create accessible reports in BIRT? [message #846678]

I'm evaluating BIRT to see if it can generate accessible PDFs for reports. To test this I've created a simple report but aside from adding alt text to charts, I don't see any way to add structure (tags) to the PDF that gets exported from BIRT. Am I just missing something or does BIRT not support PDF tags?

I'm using BIRT 3.7.2 and the free report designer.
