Hello,
I would like to use "Declarative Services" as described in the OSGI
Compendium.
Is there a working implementation out there?
The entry on the equinox bundles homepage says that the status of
org.osgi.equinox.ds is red and the last commit in the cvs seems quite old.
A post in this newsgroup recommends to use the prosyst implementation,
but I don't know where to download this implementation. Is it the jar
named org.eclipse.equinox.ds_1.0.0.v20070226.jar located at the equinox
osgi downloads homepage?
Whats the release plan for a production ready implementation of DS?
Thanks,
Martin

Hi Benedikt,
thanks a lot for both of your answers (you also answered another
question I posted).
Meanwhile I found the declarative service implementation of the apache
felix project. As far as I can say it works like a charm with the
equinox core osgi implementation. There is also a maven plugin to
generate the component descriptor by evaluating annotations.
I think I will give the equinox implementation a try a soon as the
project leaves incubation status.
Greetings,
Martin
