Hi All,

I am using Helios on a Windows 7 64 Bit machine, although I am using a 32 bit JVM. I recently tried to install TPTP using the "Install New Software" option, as this normally works fine. It gets about half way and throws a couple of errors in the form "An Internal error occurred during: "Install download0". It then either stops or hangs.

I did a search around and it seems to be a synch problem with the update site, although no one with Helios has reported the same problem.

Any ideas what might be the issue?

All help is much appreciated,

Thanks,

Kris.

Hi Kris,

maybe there is some more info to be found in your workspace's
..metadata/.log?
And which Helios-Package did you start with?
Maybe I can try what you tried to see if I experience the same
issue.

Regards,

Heiner

I was trying to reproduce this locally and got the same errors.

As an interim solution I would like to suggest that you use a zip archive of TPTP to install it.

Can you please file a Bugzilla issue for this against RT/Equinox P2?

Bug 373301 also reports update problems which may be related.

I fear there is not much we can do from TPTP side to fix this.

Torsten

Hi Torsten, Heiner,

Thanks for checking out the issue. I did as you said and downloaded the zip file. I dropped this into the appropriate folder. Unfortunately, this does not appear to be be working either. I include a print out of the log file, but there doesn't appear to be an issue.

Kind Regards,

Kris.

Hey All,

I was not able to fix this so went with JProfiler instead and that works fine. I would certainly prefer to use TPTP though.

By the way, I don't know how to file a bugzilla, so if you could run it past me that would be helpful!

Thanks,

Kris.
