Subject says it all. In earlier versions of Eclipse, you downloaded the plugins and installed in the plugins directory. The new way requires an internet connection. So if you are at work and they have a restrictive proxy, it's impossible to install plugins. Then if you download at home and sneaker net it to work, doing it the old fashioned way doesn't seem to work anymore either. Worthless.

I'm trying to install M2Eclipse. When I put the url into the Install New Software URL path, even when going around my proxy, it doesn't find any software at that location.

The url is: http:[SLASH-SLASH]download.eclipse.org[SLASH]technology[SLASH]m2e[SLASH]releases

Any suggestions? This shouldn't be so difficult.

Michael
