The voting is now open for the Eclipse Community Awards (Individual
category). These awards are to recognize and thank the individuals and
technologies that make Eclipse such a vibrant robust community. There
are a few great reasons to take the time to vote and vote well: first,
Eclipse would not be where it is today without these people and it would
be great to acknowledge them; second, we have some pretty cool prizes
for the three winners; and third, we are bribing you with free beer
tickets to redeem at the awards ceremony. Honoring our community leaders
is the best reason, definitely, but if takes a free beer... :-)

(If you aren't attending EclipseCon, I'm sorry to hear that, but you're
still welcome and encouraged to vote.)

Hi Bjorn,

I can't see where to vote for the top committer. This is one of the
categories, right?

Cheers,
Marcelo

I think committers can't vote for committers... correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers,

That's correct. Committers cannot vote for committers (nor contributors
for contributors) because the awards are about efforts outside ones
current community. Thus the people who would know best about the
committers reaching outside the committer community would be the people
outside the committer community.

Only two more days to vote in the Eclipse Community Awards.
Your vote will count more in this election than probably any other
election you vote in this calendar year - so take a few minutes and help
recognize our community leaders! Thanks.
