I'm new to Eclipse and programming in general. I've been using Eclipse with the MacOSX GCC toolchain to write C++ programs for my class but now get this error when I try to build a program.

Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'CDT Builder' on project 'Test Program'.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException

Not sure if I am providing enough information for anyone to help but all attempts are welcome.

I am experiencing the same issue.

As a workaround, I find that right clicking on the .cpp source file in project manager, Properties > C/C++ Build and clicking 'apply defaults', and then retrying the build will work. But you need to keep repeating this process every time you wish to build.

I am running Eclipse Indigo under Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10.

Anyone know if this is just a bug, or how it can be corrected?
