Hi All,

I am using Eclipse 3.2.1, CDT 3.1.1, EMF 2.2.1 and TPTP 4.3.0 with C/C++
static analysis 4.3.0.
I am able to get the result for violations in C++ code.
The same simple violations like ‘multiple variables in single statement’
are not reported in the analysis for the C code. The only result I am
getting is a single violation of Pre-processor when I use stdio.h instead
of iostream functions.
The same problem observed on 4.2.0.2 TPTP version
( http://dev.eclipse.org/newslists/news.eclipse.tptp/msg02679. html).
Has anybody seen the same behavior on 4.3.0?

Regards,
Rekha

The C++ analysis provider uses CDT exclusively. As such we are at the
mercy of CDT's limitations - it doesn't seem to handle C++ and C in the
same way. This is one of the reasons why the C++ code review is still
in tech preview.
