SWT browser navigation slower then Internet Explorer [message #792894]

Hello,
I built a java desktop application using SWT.
This app has an embedded SWT browser.
This app It's intended to run on workstations with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6 onboard.
A web application based on a Microsoft ActiveX will be open in the embedded browser.
I did some testing and I noticed that the navigation throught the web application inside the SWT browser is slow.
Doing the same thing inside Internet Expolorer 6 it's faster.
I'm using SWT version 3.7.1 and java SE version 1.6(29)
What's the reason of this behavior? Do you have any idea?
