Hello,

We have been working with SWTBot for a while to automate our eclipse environment and we have a few problems that we're trying to solve.

We've noticed that after each test the number of open shells (GXSWTWorkbenchBot().shells()) is growing, after each test there are 3-4 new shells that don't contain text (shell.getText()) and we suspect that SWTBot opens this shells We're not sure it is the cause for our problems but we would like to know if you have any idea why this is happening and if we can do something about it.

In addition we saw that after running 70 tests (with ~550 opened shells) on a VM, the OS doesn't allocate resources for our tests anymore, causing the tests to crash.

Thanks in advance,
Ortal

After a check we found that some of our shells weren't disposed properly and caused to our tests to crush.

one of the option to find problems like this is to use the sleak plugin to analyze where resources are created

FYI
