i met a trouble:a RCP project, there r some views(extends ViewPart) in main window, when i click view's minimize button, it docked another side. i want to control the minimized view docking position such as left,right,top,bottom... how can i do it?plz...

There's no API to do that. You might be able to hack something, but you would need to dig through the presentation code yourself.
