Qualifier replacement works fine when I use eg:

qualifier.replacement.*=generator:buildTimestamp

I was wondering if there is a way to discard the qualifier completely without touching the plugin manifests.

With the build timestamp I was able to set it to some fixed value like this:

generator.buildTimestamp.format='fixed'

but an empty format string would not work.

Any ideas?

If possible, the simple solution is to strip the .qualifier from your versions. That way, no generator will be called in
order to replace that key word.
