I want to create a 'maximized welcome page'; by maximized i mean that the menu bar and the toolbar are not visible.
When the user closes the welcome page (either by clicking on the close button or by choosing an entry from the welcome page); the toolbar and menu bar will become visible again.

Question(s):
1. Is this scenario possible or supported?
2. If not is there any workaround that will allow to achieve the same effect?
