Hi,

We've updated to the latest EGit Nightly and still we can't synchronize properly. My newest attempt hangs at 80%. I've
attached a screenshot to this post (hoping that it won't cause HTML tags in the web forum).

Canceling the sync job does not work. It hangs and Eclipse must be restarted.

The following attempt to sync did not hang but ended very quickly. But it came up with more than 6000 outgoing changes
including 6 conflicts that we don't understand. no visible diffs are shown in the compare editor.

Are we doing something wrong?

Cheers
/Eike

I assume that you are launching "Synchronize Workspace" action. What presentation model did you use ("Workspace" or "Git Commits") ?

It is possible that second synchronization results shows change in all text files in repository. This is because difference in line endings between repository and workspace version. Here[1] you can find description how to properly setup line endings in git.

I think I was right-clicking on the origin/master branch in the repo view and selecting "Synchronize with Workspace".

IIRC. it always starts with the Git Commits mode.

Yeah, we found that, too. But I checked that my |core.autocrlf| setting was/is true. Maybe the problem is related to
