Hi again,

Here is the problem:
RAC side:
- I've installed an RAC on some machine, lets call it A (i tried
several, it's always the same). I changed the default ports (10002, 10003
and 10005) to others (since these are already used) for example 7777, 7778
and 7779.

- I run the RAC and it works like a charm, listening on the right ports
(7777 at least).

Workbench side:
- i have a test project that is using a location that points to A.
- In my workbench, i go under the Windows, preference, profiling and
logging (why here ??), hosts, and adds the host A with the 7777 port.
- I test the connection: fine it works !
- I launch the test (using this location): Dang. ExecutionHarnessError.

How can i solve this ?
How come the location asset dosen't feature a "port" field ?
How come RACs have to be configured under the "profiling and logging" tab
? Perhaps i misunderstood this configuration step and this tab is only
designed for profiling and logging ... Then, why configuring RACs under
the profiling andd logging tab since it's supposed to do more than this
(remote testing for example).

Regards.

Hi Bertrand,
There is no need to specify the host and port number in the Profiling
and Logging preferences. This is used for profiling and logging on remote
hosts.

The port number used for test execution is set in the Preferences >>
Test preference page. It is not included in the location since the type of
communication used in remote test execution is not modeled in the location
model.
