I do not know all the rules on rendering but if I use a right to left character
the rendering switches to RtL but when the next character is a left to right the direction does not revert to LtR. Sad

Inserting the LtR directional character (0x200e?) forces the reversion but confuses LPG's primitive scanner into thinking it is part of the terminal specification.
