I'm developing a p2 enabled RCP based on Eclipse 3.7. Updating the whole product via update site works, all features and plug-ins are successfully updated/added and are working fine. However, opening the about dialog freezes the whole RCP reproducible. Even forcing the application to quit and restarting it again shows the same behavior.

The log contains the following error message:

!ENTRY org.eclipse.equinox.ds 2 0 2011-08-31 10:25:25.385
!MESSAGE Getting a lock required more than 10000 ms. There might be a synchronization problem in this callstack or just the build/dispose process of some components took too long!

Any ideas what's happening here? How can I fix this problem?

Thanks, Dominik
