I was wondering about the exact semantics of the "cumulative time"
statistics.
As stated in the docs, "cumulated time" is the time taken by an method
invocation *including* all calls to other methods.

Now I wanted to ask, if this is "filter-aware", e.g. only cumulates
method calls that are not filtered out?
Example: if I look at the cumTime of my method (and have java.lang*
EXCLUDED), are String.substring(..) calls in the measure, or not?
And what about "base time" in that case?

Thanks in advance
Florian

Yes, it should be "filter-aware" (i.e. It shouldn't take into account the
methods that are being filtered out).
