I am having problems getting the Eclipse profiler to do anything useful
with 3.2.0. I have installed TPTP-4.2.0-200606071223 and the agent
controller. The service is installed and seems to be running.

When I do a Run->Profile to profile my plugins under the ide workbench, my
CPU load immediately ramps 100% where it stays. It takes about 5 minutes
for the profiled IDE launch. Once it finally loads, the only things I
seem to be able to get memory stats for are the default and java.lang
packages.

Most of the CPU load seems to be from the java.exe being run for the agent
controller. I chose all the defaults when installing the agent.

Has anyone else seen behaviour like this? Is there possibly some
configuration change I could make?

This document describes the necessary things you'll need to set up in
order to have an effective profiling session.
