Forced to port? No... if it works with the RAC, it is supposed to work
with the new AC, at least in "backward compatibility" mode. *New* work
would probably best be done using the new APIs, but existing agents
should continue to work where they've worked before.
With new agents you should see the "new AC" running and listening with
the new APIs to port 10006, while existing agents should think the "RAC"
is still there on port 10002.
