Hi Per,

I read your reply to Andrew in the RUP Discussion Forum about
participation in the process Frame work (Beacon) Project.

I am also Interested in Participating in this Effort.

I have also not taken part in a Open Source Development before, so please
guide on what the next steps are and what information will you need about
me to be part of this team etc

Regards,
Kanishk

Kanishk,

I would like to understand what you would like to work on. You can see some
other specifications on what people has said that will work on by looking at
the proposal. (http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/beacon/) One of the reasons
we are setting up the demos next week, and soon making the code and content
available, is so people can better assess what we are proposing to
contribute, and hence can make insightful comments on how to improve upon
it, and determine what they want to work on.

Also, do you want to contribute as an indvidual, or is your company signing
up to support this.

One of the (good) challenges we will have is to figure out how we can
organize the ~30 people that now have said that they want to work on EPF
into a well-functioning project. First step is to understand what people
want to work on, and try to divide into meaningful subsystems / subteams.

Looking forward to your involvement.

Also check out other below link for more info.
