Hi!

I want to create a java template that adds a static import to the file. The template looks like this:

${imp1:importStatic(fullQualifiedClassName.*)}MORE_TEXT_HERE

Unfortunately I get the error message:
"Template has incomplete variables. Type '$$' to enter the dollar character."

As soon as I replace the * with a concrete method name, the error message disappears.

I did not find a way to "escape" the * sign (tried ${*} and ${'*'} but nothing works).

Is there a solution for my problem?

Markus

Ok,

seems to be a very easy one. The class name AND the * must be quoted with the ' (not the ") sign.

${imp1:importStatic('fullQualifiedClassName.*')}MORE_TEXT_HERE
