Hi,

I have just downloaded the Indigo Modeling release and went to create a
new GMF project. The GMF Project Wizard was not in the project list and
when I looked at the set of New Wizards I could not see the new GMF
artifact wizards other than the GMFGen wizard.

I have ensured all of the GMF plug ins are installed but still do not
see any of the GMF creation wizards. Any suggestions on what I should do
here? Is there a new mechanism for creating GMF projects?

The GMF Tooling 2.4 has not been released yet. As of today 24/6/2011...
the tooling diagram generation is broken. There seems to be some bug
fixes here and there but they have not been incorporated into an interim
release.

In short... we have to wait for an interim release of 2.4 and when
becomes available you could download the 2.4 interim release and install
it manually.

If your EMF model are still based on EMF 2.6 then you can still use the
current release using Helios.

Hi,

I think that it is due to the fact that you don't have GMF-Tooling.
GMF-Tooling for Indigo has not been released yet because of a blocking bugs:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=349941
Help is welcome to fix it.

Hi Hugo,

thanks for your advice and quick response. I aim to explore how CDO/Dawn
works with EMF/GMF projects in the Indigo environment. So this would be
using a new EMF instantiation. I'll try using the temporary manual fix
and see how far I get and I'll keep an eye out for the interim release.
