I apologize if this is the wrong Eclipse forum to post this...

I love Eclipse and have been using it for several years now. I recently
started a job where I think the application we will be building could
really take advantage of a plug-in architecture, where there's a core set
of functionality and plug-ins for specific functions.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend articles or books for me to read
on how to effectively design a system geared towards this. I figure the
people involved with Eclipse would know best.

Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but it has some interesting
ideas.

You may also want to keep an eye out for the upcoming RCP book by Jeff
