Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if it is possible in Java/Eclipse to register an event callback that gets called when data gets written by another process to an open FD on Unix? I'm a newbie, but it doesn't seem like Java has much support for this kind of asynchronous I/O.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,
