Hi,

we already blogged about the Java Chain Completion for Eclipse here:

http://code-recommenders.blogspot.com/2011/03/eclipse-code-r ecommenders-02.html

We also presented this tool to JDT Team in Z├╝rich a few weeks ago as described here:

http://code-recommenders.blogspot.com/2011/04/at-lunch-with- jdt-team-zurich.html

We now managed to create a first version of a pure JDT-based version of this completion engine and put it onto our HEAD update site here:

http://download.eclipse.org/recommenders/updates/head/

The installation and configuration is quite simple. Just follow the screenshots below:

index.php/fa/2757/0/
index.php/fa/2758/0/

Then, trigger code completion as depicted below:

index.php/fa/2759/0/

That's it Smile

Please report any bugs or improvement requests to this forum or directly to recommenders' bugzilla. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Marcel
