Free open source ad-hoc querying in the BIRT? [message #670967]

I have posted this question in a topic below but this way it should have more visibility in this forum.

My question would be is there a free ad-hoc reporting feature in the BIRT, or is there any other that you are aware of? When I say ad hoc I mean that users can drag and drop elements available to them, execute the query, save or print data or save the report they just created.
